La municipalité de Montcalm is located in the MRC des Laurentides on the south- east side of La Ville de Mont-Tremblant.  The municipality covers an area of 119,65 square kilometres of which 53% is public land. It is bordered by the following municipalities: to the north by Barkmere and Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré, to the south by Harrington, Lac-des-Seize-Îles and Wentworth-North, to the east by Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard and finally to the west by Arundel. 

The heart of the municipality is located in the Village of Weir. The permanent population of la municipalité de Montcalm is 662. Close to 1200 seasonal residents enjoy our scenery, our lakes and surrounding tranquility.
